Wei Min Tan

Wei Min is a Manhattan, New York buyer-focused condominium specialist often interviewed by the media such as CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, CNN and The New York Times.  

Wei Min adds value by bringing analytical and financial concepts into the property purchase process.  He has invested in cash flow, appreciation, value add and foreclosure property in New York, North Carolina and Asia and  shares first hand knowledge with investor clients.  

In a testament to market expertise, CNBC interviewed Wei Min in Are We In A Bubble?  He explained on Bloomberg TV that acquiring property under a company is prudent strategy and has appeared on NBC's OpenHouse show.   Wei Min has contributed to many articles including CNN's How To Win A Bidding War and Business Insider's Why Billionaires Are Investing in New York Apartments.  

Originally from Malaysia, Wei Min speaks English, Cantonese Chinese, Mandarin Chinese and Malay.  He has served clients from within New York, North America, Asia and Europe.  To foreign clients, Wei Min serves as a one-stop solution and manages the process from buying to renting out to eventually, selling.   

Prior to real estate, Wei Min was Vice President at Citigroup responsible for a $500 million portfolio. He received Citigroup's prestigious Chairman's Leadership Award, a recognition awarded to the top 2% of managers.   He is a student of muay thai kickboxing, plays the piano and holds a black belt in Taekwondo.  

Wei Min received an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a BBA, Summa Cum Laude, from Marshall University.  He is a New York Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker with Charles Rutenberg LLC and Member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY).

Richard Friedman

For over 30 years, Richard Friedman has been involved with the financial and management side of real estate investments in the commercial and residential markets.

Always one to spot a good investment, Richie brought Charles Rutenberg LLC to Manhattan in 2006. That vision proved to be priceless to Richie and his co-founders as it is the fastest growing independent residential real estate firm in NYC to date.

Richie is no stranger to bringing new companies to the public eye. As President of A.P. Montgomery and Co. Inc., an over-the-counter Nasdaq market maker from 1961-1974, he specialized in trading every initial public offering and secondary that came to the market.

During the 1960s and ‘70s he wrote The New Issues column for Financial World Magazine and The Richie Report for the Daily Mirror. He was a weekly contributor to articles for the financial section of the New York Times and New York Post where his insight into the state of the initial public offering and secondary markets were highly valued.

After A.P. Montgomery and Co. Inc, Richie founded APMC Associates followed by RFJM Partners LLC which he disbanded to create RFMF Partners LLC. His new partnership focuses on the public equity markets as well as private placements, bridge loans, PIPEs and a variety of other private investments.

Darren China, Architect

Darren China is passionate about architecture. A highly respected architect with a vast knowledge of design and construction for a variety of project types, he believes that remarkable design can improve the quality of life. This philosophy is evidenced in his work, which is often described as clean and bold, yet understated, highly functional and deeply human. He is known for his exceptionally high level of design standard in his architecture, interiors and furniture, as well as his ability to intuit clients’ needs and collaborate effectively with them in the design process.


Before founding Studio China Architecture + Design, Darren was employed in various design firms as a lead architect on projects for luxury residences, public buildings, and Fortune 500 companies. Having studied architecture at Iowa State University his education included a stint in Rome, Italy and an award for Practice Excellence. He is a licensed architect in New York and New Jersey and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
Timothy K. Wong, Esq., CPA

Tim Wong is head of his own law practice bearing his name.  The firm specializes in commercial and residential real estate transactions, tax controversies, domestic and international tax structuring and planning, mergers & acquisitions, trusts and estates and other complex business issues. 

Prior to starting his own firm, Tim has held senior level positions at several multi-billion dollar hedge funds that held equity, real property, debt, CDO and MBS investments in North America, Europe and Asia.  Prior to his hedge fund experience he has worked as a tax attorney at IBM and at Ernst & Young LLP and Deloitte LLP.  

Tim received his BBA in Accounting from Bernard M. Baruch College CUNY and his JD from St. John's University School of Law.  He was previously a board member of the Alumni Association of St. John's University School of Law.  Tim is a member of the New York and New Jersey bar associations, and is admitted to practice before the United States District courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the United States Tax Court and the United States Court of International Trade.  Tim is a Certified Public Accountant in New York State.
